we played in portland tonight
the first show of our u.s. tour
i had such a beautiful day today
i hung out with a friend i like a lot and played golf
and then i rocked a show with my band mates who i like a lot
and i wore my pink suit that i like a lot
and i ate food i like a lot
and got on a tour bus i like a lot
soon i am gonna read wuthering heights which i like a lot
and sleep which i like a lot

so nice to have these times
i look in the newspaper and i am so sad about things going on in the
world
it is overwhelming the quantity of fear being stirred up
and wars that solve nothing
and people being bombed
all i can do is pray for love
and be grateful for my peaceful days
i would really be grateful if america could get a great leader
someone to believe in
that's something to pray for
