we rocked a show in london tonight out front of the bbc
yeeah!!!!
on fire it was a lot of fun and good rockin
john was not happy with the show, he was having monitor problems but
he still rocked out and played beautifully
sometimes i have been miserable on stage in the past and the show was
good anyways even though i couldn't see it
our personal happiness is not always key to a good show
because we care so much about it and try so hard to compensate
for me at least
man i just heard john coltrane live at the village vanguard in 1961
elvin jones was rockin the drums like there is no tomorrow
literally like there was no tomorrow
he was willing to die for it
for real
now i am listening to ice cube 'death certificate'
i think that is one of the finest hip hop records ever made
my favorite hip hop records are

oh i probably left out some great ones i love that i am not thinking of

anyways now i am listening to hank mobley
'no room for squares' and my world is being rocked beyond this one

it is a grey easter day in london today
we are going over to a friends house for dinner
that is so nice to have friends in foreign lands
ii have had so many great times in england in my life
once anthony and i and gavin hitchhiked in the dead of night down to
the south of the country somewhere
and i was walking by myself on the highway at 3 in the morning with
my backpack and it was raining
and i will never forget it it was so beautiful and i was so happy
then i got picked up by some army guys and they shared their whiskey
with me
and then the next day was my 21st birthday

i wish everyone a happy easter
i bet there was a jesus and he was a great guy
that bible seems a little sketchy to me though
i mean how do we know it's all true
it was written so much later after all the stuff they were writing
about had happened
and it has been used as a propaganda tool for so long

i just dont know anything
but i guess it makes a lot of people happy
